1st Annual FAYA Retreat: Fellowship of Adventist Young Adults

If you are a Korean-American young adult, this question is for you: Is it getting harder to attend church, if at all, or do you feel as if you've drifted away from God? Or maybe you just feel burnt out? Maybe you are seeking a community of fellow Korean-American young adults to connect with? Possibly, you hope to find a group of like-minded people, or just want to build new friendships and enjoy good company and fellowship.

We are looking for those same things as well, and really want to meet and get to know you! Join us at the 1st Annual FAYA retreat.

Our purpose is to form a Young Adult SDA Community with hopes of reconnecting with our peers both in and away from church. We are Young Adult church leaders in various East Coast churches, including GA, MD and NY, committed to the Spiritual wholeness of Young Adults, who are our peers, our friends and family. With the support of the English Ministries Vice President of KCA (Korean Church Association) Pastor David Kim, currently at Good Hope (an English Ministry in the Washington-Spencerville area) this retreat will strengthen our fellowship through Bible studies, meaningful discussions and fun activities. We want to provide a true retreat where you can rejuvenate, and go home, whole again.

When: January 13-16, 2017 (MLK Jr. weekend)
Where: Summit Lake Christian Camp in Emmitsburg, Maryland
