The Charlotte Korean SDA Church began about 25 years ago, and has been steady ever since. Located in Matthews, NC (close to Charlotte) CKASDA is a church that has made an impact in its community through its inviting doors and helping hands.
Although the youth membership numbers only 13, its members are extremely active in outreach such as going to nursing homes monthly, helping out with general service projects, and sending cards overseas to our troops. CKASDA youth is very focused on fellowship, as we believe that it is the essence of our interaction with God. Our program is led out by Jane Yon and Kim Ki-kyung, and both invest a lot of their time to make CKASDA youth better prepared to be leaders in the Christian community.
On a different note, due to our small membership, we love having visitors, and are very open to anyone who comes through our doors. If you end up coming, be sure to bring a change of clothes as we stay all day long and do many different activities each Sabbath. Plus, we have a killer potluck so you’ll be able to enjoy that as well! See you then!
