As the immigrant children grow up and marry, they create a generation of Korean Americans, who can understand Korean, but doesn’t speak fluent Korean. The EM Adults are flocking to the camps, and this year was the largest by far.

Led by Eunice Kim, word of mouth has spread that there is a place for English speaking Adults, in the annual Korean camp. Morning devotion was led by Jane Lee. Over the course of a week, she focused on a variety of topics, including how to make a marriage happy and successful, as well as how to be the parent that God intended for her children.

Dr. Grace Oh gave a seminar on the importance of sleep and the facts about the workings of the brain. When you sleep, it’s an imitation of death - which should impact how you live your life. I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, Idie daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31 Every day is a day to live your life fully and for God. Worship is not only at church, but everyday that you’re able to wake up, do your daily task. When you’re lying in bed, you should reflect on your day and clean out your soul. As you die each day, the Sabbath should be like the day of restoration.

Pastor Chester Clark III gave the morning and evening message. He studied Abraham the whole week, and today showed how by building altars, Abraham was building churches in a pagan land and planting a seed. Abraham was the first missionary, where God took him out of his home in Ur and he lived his life in the desert, being a blessing to the nation; teaching his family, his household and his neighbors. We must have personal worship, family worship (to be accountable to each other) and church worship (living a life among imperfect people). The afternoon was a cooking class, demonstrated by Eunice and Gloria Kim. They made four healthy, vegan and simple recipes for salad, entrée and dessert.

For the young attendees, the evening is the highlight of the week, whne the various classes perform their theme for the week. From the youngest at cradle roll, to the young adults, they glorified God through their praise.
