Sunday, August 2, and Koreans are flocking into a small town in western Pennsylvania. University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown is hosting the annual Korean SDA camp meeting and there were non-stop activities from dawn ‘til midnight.

Leaders and Coordinators woke up early in excitement and readied their respective rooms for the attendees. Signs were posted, tables were set up and prayers were sent up for guidance. Cars had been showing up all morning, and Andrews Living Spring Church quickly prepared to register in attendees from all over the East Coast.

As friend and family greeted each other, cars were dispatched to pick up the various speakers flying in for the week. Pastor Chester Clark, flew his private plane, onto a small local airport, 10 mins. from the campus--while the other speakers flew commercial.

Every attendee from toddler to adults, quickly found their room and joined in the first day ritual: the icebreakers. Games were played to change strangers into friends, to bring them together as family, and to create memories. Even though the session ended in time for bed, attendees were too excited to return to their rooms. Everyone was looking forward to a blessed week.
