ECKCM Day 6

When you give a testimony, it’s not just a revealing of yourself, but a testimony of God’s grace and His Spirit working in your life. Paul’s letters to the churches are not just words of encouragement but a testimony of a life REmaining in Christ. He lived with them--they saw his character through his preaching, as well as working with him side by side, whether in trade or in church. They KNOW he was a man of God.

When they arrived, he said to them: “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia.  I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus. (Acts 20:18-21)

Friday was spent finishing up workshops and discussions. Tammy Conway gave a workshop on relationship to Collegiate to close out the week of workshops on familial, academic, and other relationships. HS spent a morning of Q & A with Pastor Tyler Stewart. Each groups spent the Sabbath evening, reflecting and testifying of God’s grace and power working in their life and this week at campmeeting. Brave souls shared their weakness, their powerlessness and their victory through God’s Spirit. HS spent more than 3 hours sharing their struggles back home, and what campmeeting has done to help them. Han Sammo, held foot-washing and communion as well as an evening of testimony.

As we anticipate the Sabbath Day, may we remember the words of encouragement and REmain in Him.
