Family Mission Trip to Ensenada Mexico: June 24 – July 1, 2018

Would you like to be a Glendale Missionary for the Lord?  This is the chance! We invite all ages to come and serve!

What we will be doing as a missionary:
Prayer Visitation & Bible gifts, Gospel Preaching, NEW START education, Vacation Bible School, Construction work, Lice treatment, Hair Cut, Feeding a village, First Aid Treatment, Dentist services, Vitamin give away, Sanitation training, Foot Washing & Foot massage, Clothes & Toys give away.

What do I need?
i) A willing heart
ii) Vacation time for the mission
iii) US Passport with more than 6 months before it expires.  If you have other passports please check with your own embassy.

What should I expect?
i) Weather: Very similar to Los Angeles weather.
ii) Where we stay: Ensenada Mission Center.  A gated property with a church and a dormitory which is run by a Korean pastor and his wife.
iii) Where we eat:  Mostly we will cook and eat at the mission center, we will make food to go for outing, and we will have a couple of chance to eat genuine Mexican Taco.
iv) Where do we shower: We will go to the Natural Hot Spring Bath House daily.  There we will clean and relax.  With a small pay we can even do laundry with the hot spring water.

What if I cannot come for the whole week?
We have two different teams caravanning down to Ensenada.  First team on June 24, Sunday; second team on June 28, Thursday.  You may choose to serve entire week or just a few days. 

What should I bring?
Bible
Sleeping bag
A big hat
Sun Screen Lotion
Towel, Soap, Shampoo, Tooth brush, Toothpaste, toilet paper
Clothes – Long pants & closed toe shoes highly recommended.
Mexican Auto-insurance (if you bring your own vehicle, you can purchase it online at a daily rate)
