History: More than 30 years ago, Pastor Don Kim, currently the president of Korean SDA church Council of America, started the church's English Ministry. Ever since then, EM has grown strong, physically and spiritually. We are no longer considered youth or young adult group, but a English speaking Family ministry where the members are from 0 year olds, all the way to 50+ year olds.
The Glendale Korean Church English Ministry, seek God through a common life of prayer, study, and outreach--giving witness to Christ and the Gospel, in service to the church and the world. Called together by Christ, we support each other under the mission of Jesus Christ. Our life together encourages soul winning and helping others, through mission trips and small group Bible studies and prayer groups. We serve the Church and the wider community through mission trips, outreach programs, our prayers, pastoral ministry, and in hospitality to people of all faiths.
Pastor Enoch Lee is a 3rd generation Adventist pastor, who received his Theology degree at Southern Adventist University. He had served Orlando Central Korean church, Loma Linda Korean Church, Rosemead Korean Church and is currently serving Glendale Korean Church in Southern California. His philosophy is that God has a strong influence on people today, as much He had in the Bible days. He is passionate about making Christianity a tangible lifestyle, in a modern setting. His emphasis is hands-on ministry. He is married to Jae Young Lee, a ballet dance professor at Santa Monica College. They have a 2 year old baby boy named Jason, and another baby boy due in January, 2013 Pastor Enoch’s hobbies are traveling, riding his motorcycle, and videography.
They are actively participating in the Angel Tree Prison Ministry, a ministry reaching out to children who have parents that are in prison.
