Third Annual Andrews Research Conference: May 4-8, 2016

The Andrews University Office of Research and Creative Scholarship, in collaboration with the Departments of English, History and Political Science, International Languages, Music, and Visual Arts, will be hosting the Third Annual Andrews Research Conference from May 4-8, 2016. The theme is "Early Career Researchers and Creative Scholars in the Arts and Humanities." Conference sponsors include the North American Division Office of Strategic Planning and Assessment and the General Conference Office of Archives, Statistics, and Research.

All Adventist graduate students, post-docs and early career faculty- as well as advanced undergraduate students and recent graduates- in the Arts and Humanities disciplines (English, History, Political Science, International Languages, Music, and Visual Arts) are invited to participate by giving a scholarly oral presentation (which may include a reading of creative writing or the showing of an original film), lecture recital, or participating in an exhibition. The conference itself will be free for all students, recent graduates, post-docs, and early career faculty. Conference meals, double-occupancy lodging, and conference excursions are provided as part of the conference registration.  We are particularly interested in having Adventist students or faculty from non-Adventist institutions participate in the conference.
