WCKCM Day 4

After a year of papers and finals, a week of spiritual revival is a good way to spend your summer. Collegiate group led by Juliana Moon, connected through the fact that Camp Meeting wasn’t just for social purposes anymore. They needed a reminder their faith was not in vain, they needed strength to keep running.

Lucien Isaac and his group from Berkeley, led in praise and morning workshop. The young man, who had everything, still lacked one thing: love of God more than love of earthly possession. Small groups discussed what was good or bad about their current spiritual life and what was needed.

Afternoon at camp, was the Family Festival. Each group from VBS to College, prepared booths for games and food. Attendees had opportunity to test their strength in arm wrestling, as well as endurance in food eating contests, and skills at throwing balls and darts. Homemade food was sold ranging from Ice Cream to Hodduk.

Evening was spent in praise and prayer. Collegiates shared their spiritual experience, as well as struggles. Prayer alone and in twos were encouraged, and music filled the room throughout the evening. A quiet time to reflect was just want these overwhelmed students needed.
