WCKCM Day 6

Friday morning started with the much anticipated 5K, a fundraiser for a mission project organized by David and Hannah Kim. Children as young as 11 years-old, to runners well into their 80s, ran/walked the 5K around the PUC campus.

An Alumni breakfast was hosted by the PUC Alumni for the EMA. Pastor Taj Pacleb took a morning session to answer questions about evangelizing, as well as about the End-time message.

The Young Adults volunteered with Calistoga Affordable Housing, a not-for-profit which helps repair homes for those unable to afford home repairs. Today’s project was several homes in a trailer park mostly inhabited by the elderly.  They helped with a variety of home repairs, from replacing screens and knobs, to replacing stairs and plumbing.

Pastor Pacleb presented the sanctuary message showing how the path from the gate toward the Most Holy Place, was a path of the Garden of Eden which Adam and Eve took, when they were exiled to the East of the Garden from the presence of God. Understanding who inhabited the light and what “darkness” meant throughout the scriptures, will help us on the path back to God. Pastor Pacleb closed with the plea to move forward, or get off the path so the ones behind could walk on.
