Quick Sweet & Spicy Soy Curls

Ingredients
4 cup soy curls dried
3 TBS corn starch
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced

Sauce ingredients
3 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp mushroom seasoning powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp garlic chili sauce
5 Tbsp sweet chili sauce (decrease if less sweetness desired, I like Mae Ploy)

Directions:
Soak soy curls in hot tap water for 5 minutes.

While soaking the curls, mix sauce ingredients except sweet chili sauce.

Drain soy curls and gently press out some water. Toss with cornstarch.

In a large nonstick frying pan, saute garlic in the oil briefly. Add soy curls and mix to distribute oil and garlic. Add the sauce to soy curls and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until curls are browned (about 10 minutes).

Turn heat to low and add sweet chlii sauce to glaze. Cook about 2 more minutes.

Tips
For a crispier texture, you can bake the completed soy curls on a cookie sheet at 350 for about 20 minutes until desired firmness.
